Southern Burgundy Barge Cruises
Barging in Burgundy! Think cultural treasures, vineyards, historic towns, divinely beautiful countryside...and wine, wine wine! Southern Burgundy has been called “The Land of Good Living” and when your barge cruise is over, you’ll understand why.
LOCATION:The very accessible Southern Burgundy cruise region lies in the geographic heart of France and takes in the famed Cote d’Or vineyards and towns. Many of our barges offer chauffeured transfers to and from Paris, while others are reachable by train. Fast (two to three hours) TGV trains arrive several times daily from Paris to the transportation hubs of Dijon and Le Creusot, while other French cities such as Strasbourg and Lyon may be a short train ride away. So, it is easy to combine your Southern Burgundy barge cruise with two to three days in an entirely different area. Tack on a few days in Paris and you have a two week French adventure!
