The journey begins with a cruise to Chagny. Relax on deck, or explore the countryside by bicycle or on foot. Upon arrival, your Tour Guide escorts you to the Chateau de Rully, a 12th century medieval fortress which has remained in the same family since its creation.The owner will guide you through his home sharing the intriguing history of his ancestors. Your visit is completed by a visit to a preserved 15th century kitchen, where samples of the estate's wines are served. Return to the barge for cocktails and dinner.

Relax on the deck as this morning's cruise traverses the final section of the Canal du Centre, and then slips onto the River Saone. After mooring, your Tour Guide escorts you to the Chateau de Chamirey for a vineyard tour and a private winetasting. Originally an early 18th century property, the Chateau is now a family-owned wine estate, where some of the most prestigious Premiers Crus are produced within Burgundy. Back onboard, freshen up before enjoying dinner ashore at a charming bistro.

Afterwards, browse the shops and galleries lining the pedestrian area, or enjoy a coffee in the town square. Return to Hirondelle in time for a leisurely stroll or gentle pedal along the towpath. Cocktail hour precedes another gourmet dinner.
