Begin your magical week exploring the Christmas markets of Alsace with a Champagne Welcome and introduction of crew. As the sun sets, enjoy the first of many gourmet dinners onboard.

The adventure begins with a morning cruise to our mooring in Strasbourg. In the afternoon, your Tour Guide presents Colmar, a nearby fairytale town famous for its six Christmas markets, each depicting a different theme. Then, a special treat: Visit a local chocolatier, and try your hand at creating your personal confectionary! Return to the barge for aperitifs and appetizers as Chef prepares tonight's epicurean dinner.

This morning your Tour Guide introduces Strasbourg. You’ll explore its 13 Christmas markets located throughout the cobblestoned center; then experience the Gothic pink sandstone cathedral, home to a popular nativity scene. Return to Panache for an afternoon cruise through the city and past the European Parliament buildings to our mooring. Dine ashore this evening at a traditional Alsatian restaurant.

This morning, Panache cruises further along the canal, with good walking and cycling opportunities, to our rural mooring set beneath the trees. This afternoon, your Tour Guide chauffeurs you to Riquewhir, an enchanting Medieval town set amongst the Alsatian vineyards. Wander through the Christmas Market and artisanal craft stalls, followed by an optional winetasting at nearby Maison Hugel. Dinner onboard ends this delightful day.

This morning, enjoy a relaxing cruise. In the afternoon, observe the expert glassblowers at the Meisenthal Glass Bauble factory, considered the birthplace of Christmas ornaments. If time permits, experience visit the outstanding René Lalique collection with over 500 exceptional examples of Art Nouveau and Art Deco jewelry and decorative pieces. Before dinner onboard, there’s time for aperitifs and perhaps some traditional Alsatian “Flammekueche” prepared by your Chef.

Cruise this morning through open countryside to our final mooring. Enjoy some last minute shopping - and perhaps a turn on the ice rink in the market square – before returning to Panache where the Captain’s Farewell Dinner ends your cruise in style.
