In late afternoon, you will be met by a crew member of Saroche at the designated meeting point in Strasbourg. From here, relax as you are chauffeured to the barge, moored in the port of Hochfelden. A traditional champagne welcome and introduction to the crew awaits you, before the first of many gourmet dinners onboard.

The Alsatian adventure begins with a morning cruise. Explore the towpath with a bicycle ride or brisk stroll, or just relax on deck with a freshly brewed cup of coffee. This afternoon, immerse in military history at the fort of Schoenenbourg, the site of one of the only fully intact Maginot line forts built post - WW1 to deflect another German invasion. Then return to the Saroche to freshen up before for Bubbles du Jour, a nightly onboard tasting of the region's sparkling wines, as Chef Dawn puts the finishing touches on tonight's gourmet dinner.

Begin the day with a beer tasting! This morning, Jason accompanies you to Maison Meteor for a guided tour of the oldest brewery in France, founded in 1640. Then, sip and savor the small batch suds in the Maison's manicured garden. An afternoon cruise culminates opposite the beautiful chateau of Rohan with plenty of time to disembark and explore. This evening, sample the flavors of France ashore, as dinner is taken at a local gastronomic restaurant. Return to the Saroche for socializing with nightcaps and stargazing by the firepits.

A morning cruise through the Zorn Valley reveals some of the route's most scenic and stunning views. Active guests can hop off the barge at one the locks and discover the region's flora and fauna with a gentle pedal or leisurely stroll, while those who prefer to relax can laze on deck or lounge in the salon. This afternoon, enjoy a drive through the prestigious Alsatian vineyards followed by a private tour and tasting at a local domaine. Back onboard the Saroche, sip on a flute of Bubbles du Jour before Chef Dawn presents tonight's delicious dinner.

This morning, drive through the Vosges Mountains to discover the exquisite masterworks by one of France's most revered artists, Rene Lalique. Explore the Musee Lalique, which exhibits over 500 examples of his prolific works. Stunning jewelry, delicate perfume bottles, and the iconic crystal decorative pieces for which is most celebrated are all on display. Return to the Saroche for an afternoon cruise. Upon mooring, visit the crystal works nearby, where trained artisans produce beautiful handblown designs. Drinks and dinner are served onboard.

Begin the day with a cruise through the Arzviller tunnels, then ascend the Arzviller Boat Lift, a unique nautical elevator that carries the Saroche 450 feet up the mountainside in minutes. Afterward, relax on deck with a glass of wine as Saroche floats through scenic woodlands and idyllic countryside. An afternoon excursion to Sarrebourg reveals the Chapelle de Cordeliers and Marc Chagall’s astonishing stained glass windows, the largest and arguably most beloved of his many works. Back onboard, the gala Captain's Dinner awaits!
