Prosperite represents the best of modern living, relaxed socializing, and lively entertaining.

The good life as a guest on Prosperite begins with cabins that are among the largest offered in French barging, identical in size at 270 square feet. As well, each ensuite bathroom boasts updated décor, a large glassed-in shower stall, generous storage, and underfloor heating.

Prosperite floats on a special route, deep in the uncrowded French countryside where cultural discovery and access to local personalities are prioritized. Meet the entrepreneurs behind Burgundy’s wine production thanks to a vineyard visit; be welcomed by the owner of a family-owned chateau; and tour the architectural gem of the immaculately preserved Hospice de Beaune.

Of course, with so many nearby produce markets, boutique boulangeries, and premium dairies, Burgundy’s iconic bounty is the star of the culinary show. Gourmands are invited to join Chef in the open galley as he freshly crafts French cuisine, while oenophiles will especially enjoy the nightly pour of a Burgundian Grand Cru.

At the helm of Prosperité is Captain Vincent Leray, a native of Nice whose French charm, easygoing professionalism, and 16 years of experience on the canals of Burgundy as Prosperité’s pilot have made him a gracious host and guest favorite. That same spirit of care is evident throughout the cruise, from the smooth ride in a Mercedes minivan to the gleaming napkin rings adorning an elegant table setting. With Vincent and his crew attending to every detail, lucky guests are welcomed into the polished pleasures of life aboard Prosperité.
