Champagne, a drink synonymous with luxury and celebrations, is a French treasure exclusively produced in the eponymous region located just ninety miles east of Paris.

Champagne is also one of main ingredients in Kir Royale: splash a bit of Crème de Cassis liqueur into your flute, top up with chilled Champagne – and savor this most sparkling and flavorful of cocktails! Then join the Barge Lads and Ladies in raising a toast to the Deluxe class, 8-guest Kir Royale.

This especially spacious vessel glides along Champagne’s preserved canals and petite rivers, ensuring delightful view of adorable villages and vineyard-clad shores. Elegant public areas, including a salon with comfortable seating and piano, are designed for hours of convivial socializing. Three outdoor seating areas offer ample space for everyone: a small forward deck; an aft sundeck with a heated spa pool; and an upper observation deck with panoramic view. Four newly renovated staterooms, each over two hundred square feet, feature en-suite ensuite bathrooms with double sinks as well as an oversized rain forest shower.

Daily excursions to area attractions showcase Champagne’s grapes and France’s history. Private cellar tours and hosted Champagne tastings reveal the secrets of the region’s elite producers. Guests are also introduced to the region’s astonishing WW1 memorials, as well as the Reims Cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece of French architecture where the French kings were crowned.
