Relish a highlight of Amour’s itinerary as you take to the roads behind the wheel of France’s iconic, best loved car – the Citroen 2CV! Hop into this vintage ride and drive along gently winding lanes under the shade of plane trees. Your destination is the Chateau de Pennautier, dating from 1620 and still owned by direct heirs of the Pennautier family. Taste the wines lovingly made from the estate’s pampered grapes; then, return to Amour for an afternoon cruise, followed by a memorable evening of drinks and dinner onboard.
Laze on deck with a cup of coffee during this morning’s final cruise. In the afternoon, your Tour Guide chauffeurs you to Carcassonne, a fortified Medieval fortress with a walled city. Explore the ancient castle and preserved ramparts to admire the mighty 53 Roman towers, enjoying panoramic views over the vistas beyond. Or, simply pamper yourselves at a superb spa at guest expense.
