The city's center has become a well–established bohemian haven of craft shops, lively cafes, and specialty boutiques. Sip, shop, and stroll your way through this adorable town brimming with authentic French life. Return to the Anjodi for drinks and dinner onboard.

Laze on deck during this morning's cruise while ascending the engineering marvel of the Fonserannes flight of seven locks. This afternoon, enjoy an informative winery tour and tasting at the Château Pech-Celeyran. Originally the site of a Roman villa, wine production here goes back a very long time. Swirl, sip, and savor these aromatic elixirs from this terroir unique to the south of France. Back onboard, Chef is putting the final touches on dinner while appetizers and aperitifs are served in the salon.

The morning begins with a visit to Narbonne, a regional capital established in 118 B.C.E. as a Roman colony. A study of European history and local modernity thriving side by side, preserved Roman ruins are presented in public spaces, while the lively Narbonne market reflects the region’s gastronomic bounty. Return to the barge for an afternoon cruise and relax on deck with a glass of wine. Tonight's dinner is taken ashore at a local bistro, allowing for an authentic taste of the region's many specialties.

In the afternoon, your Tour Guide offers an escorted tour of Minerve, a former capital of the region, and now a preserved Medieval city with fascinating social, historical, and military import. A sunset cocktail hour precedes dinner onboard.
