In the afternoon, you will be met in Narbonne at the designated meeting point by Anjodi crew. From here, relax as you are chauffeured to the barge, moored in the charming port town of Marseillan. Many of the homes here date back from the 12th century, and virtually no new buildings have constructed since the 17th century. A traditional champagne welcome and introduction to the crew awaits you, before your first gourmet dinner aboard.

This morning, your Tour Guide escorts you to Pézenas, a town of art and history. The city's historic center has become a well–established bohemian haven of craft shops, lively cafes, and specialty boutiques. Sip, shop, and stroll your way through this adorable town brimming with authentic French life. Back onboard, an afternoon cruise provides the perfect opportunity to relax on deck, or explore the towpath with a gentle pedal or leisurely stroll. Drinks and dinner are served onboard.

Laze on deck with a cup of coffee during this morning's cruise to the bottom of the Fonserannes 7-lock flight at Beziers. This afternoon, your Tour Guide accompanies you to the 14th Century Chateau de Perdiguier, famed for its 15th century frescoes and Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay wines. Explore the magnificent grounds, and then enjoy a sampling of their exclusive wines. Tonight's dinner is very special, as it is taken ashore at a local bistro, allowing for an authentic taste of the region's many specialties.

This morning's cruise is to the aqueduct over the River Orb. The Anjodi then ascends the engineering marvel of the 7-lock flight of Fonserannes before reaching the world’s oldest canal tunnel at Malpas. Your Tour Guide will then chauffeur you to Minerve, a preserved Medieval city with fascinating social, historical, and military import. After returning to the barge, take a casual bicycle ride through the pastoral countryside, or relax on deck with a glass of wine. Chef puts the finishing touches on another gourmet dinner.

The morning begins with a visit to Narbonne, a regional capital established in 118 BCE as a Roman colony. A study of European history and local modernity thriving side by side, preserved Roman ruins are presented in public spaces, while the lively Narbonne Market reflects the region’s gastronomic bounty. Return to the barge for an afternoon cruise, stopping en route at Chateau de Guery, a 500 year old canal side vineyard, for a private wine tasting of their full-bodied Corbieres. Cocktail hour precedes dinner onboard.
