In the afternoon, you will be met by a crew member of La Reine Pédauque at the designated meeting point. From here, relax as you are chauffeured to the barge, peacefully moored in the petite village of Renève and surrounded by Burgundy’s unspoiled countryside. A traditional welcome featuring a champagne toast and introduction to the crew awaits you, followed by time to settle into your spacious accommodations. Soon, Chef presents the first of many gourmet dinners to be enjoyed onboard.

Begin the day with an excursion to Château d’Arcelot, a privately owned 18th-century estate and the first neoclassical château built in Burgundy. Explore a dozen beautifully furnished rooms before strolling through the expansive landscaped park, complete with a lake and whimsical Chinese pavilion. This afternoon, enjoy the first cruise along the tranquil Champagne-Burgundy Canal. The cruise continues onto the River Saône and toward the riverside village of Pontailler-sur-Saône. Once moored, gather around the bar for cocktails and conversation before tonight’s delicious dinner onboard.

This afternoon, your Tour Guide introduces the extraordinary Royal Saltworks of Arc-et-Senans. Conceived during the 18th century as both an industrial complex and an architectural ideal, its imposing stone buildings, graceful arcades, and grand semicircular design reflect an age of ambitious invention. Explore the delightful town of Beaune, Burgundy’s convivial capital of wine. Your Tour Guide accompanies you through the Hôtel-Dieu, also known as the Hospices de Beaune. After lunch at a charming local bistro, tour the historic cellars of Maison Jaffelin, one of Beaune’s smallest and most distinguished wine houses. Here, a special sampling introduces the traditions, terroirs, and talents tasted in every glass. While guests enjoy Beaune, La Reine Pédauque cruises from Auxonne to Saint-Jean-de-Losne. Coffee and croissants await this morning as La Reine Pédauque enters the Canal de Bourgogne. Here, there are ample opportunities to stroll or cycle along the gorgeous canal-side towpath. In the afternoon, your Tour Guide accompanies you to the vineyard-clad hills of the Côte de Nuits, home to some of Burgundy’s most celebrated wines. At Château du Clos de Vougeot, discover the historic cellars and antique wine presses once used by Cistercian monks. The day continues near Nuits-Saint-Georges with a tasting at Domaine Jean-Marc Millot. Return to La Reine Pédauque for an evening of cocktails, conversation, and Chef’s latest culinary creation.

Today's destination is Dijon, Southern Burgundy’s sophisticated regional capital. Mingle with the locals while browsing seasonal produce, artisanal cheeses, and freshly baked breads at Les Halles, the city’s celebrated covered food market. Rejoin La Reine Pédauque near Époisses for a final cruise. This evening, Chef presents the Farewell Feast.
